The FS-4 did not work but I noticed the comments about cleaning the contacts with Deoxit.
I got hold of some and it is magical. I had cleaned the contacts with ordinary contact cleaner - looked great but still not working.
Got my Deoxit today - not cheap - cost me over $40 Cdn for 25 ml needle dispenser bottle of 100% liquid.
Put it on and rubbed with a cotton swab on a stick and now have a new FS-4. Works fine.
Will give all the contacts in the R-4C tomorrow and see what magic it does on that.
A couple of the fellows were asking about shipping. The non-aerosol product should present no restrictions.
