While operating CW, the idle current on my T4XC will rise over time from around 100ma to about 200ma. When I stop sending, even for a few seconds, let the relay drop, then restart, the current is back to normal. For that reason, it didn't seem to me to be a heat-related problem. I will soon have the rig offline for alignment, cleaning, tube checks, etc. What is a potential cause for what I'm seeing? Operation of the rig is not hampered in any way, apparently, but the rising current is bothersome.
