Do a search on Google for Drake Virtual Museum/Virtual Drake
Museum and you should be able to get the breakdown. The R4C is
infinitely better than the others because of the crystal filtering used.
But, out of the box, without any of the accessories (i.e., filters, NB,
crystals, etc), the B line is a better value because there's nothing more to
buy.....The A line is just an older version and the caps will need replcaement
sooner.
So if money is an issue, go with the B line. If money is no object,
go with a Sherwood-modified C line, which rivals the best solid state
radios!
