I am trying to disassemble the electrolytic capacitor can on my T-4XC in order to rebuild it. What does it take to de-solder the one mounting tab from the chassis? I tried both my 325-watt Weller and my butane soldering iron, with no success. The copper-coated chassis sinks the heat away faster than I can produce it.
Any ideas?
