I have a T4XB and have always received outstanding reports on the quality of my audio when operating AM. I am using and ElectroVoice Model 664 microphone. As far as I know no mods have been made on the AM portion of this rig.
Can someone enlighten me on what, if any, changes were made by Drake in the audio circuitry between the T4XB and C? Mine puts out less than 500 mw carrier with peaks to 100 watts. Audio is okay (not great). What mods have you done to improve your AM performance? What issues have you run in to?
