I got both messages (i.e. the message was addressed to me and to drakelist, as well as others). When I reply all, I usually eliminate all addressees except drakelist, so that you don't have to read the same message twice. I wish it didn't work that way.

It also depends on how the list is set up. Some list servers default to reply goes
to sender insead of to the list. This doesnt make sense for a discussion list.
I run a couple mailing lists using Gnu Mailman for Tesla coil enthusiasts and
for a local Radio Control Aircraft club. Mailman allows you to easily change
where the reply goes. I always set my lists so reply comes back to the list.
This helps to keep discussions going. I often see posts on this list where the
original poster asks a question and then sends a thank you for all who help
but we never got to see what that help was or what the answer to the question was.
This list uses majordomo and Im sure it must allow for the same thing but it has been several years since I looked at that package. So the admin could eliminate some problems by changing how the list handles replies. If majordomo wont allow that then I whole heartedly recommend changing over to Gnu Mailman. It is much better and much easier to admin.
