Kevin LaHaie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterence to the drakelist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello!

I am new to the Drake world, and so far I like it! I acquired a TR-4C
and so far it seems to receive fine, powers up, puts out RF etc.

Now, I would like to try it with CW, as I don't have a high impedance
microphone. (More on that in a later post!)

I thought I would have the perfect keyer, the Idiompress CMOS4 keyer,
which has the negative keying, grid block mode.

Well, it doesn't key the rig correctly, regardless of the setting of
the gain, sidetone, Vox or anti-vox in any combination.

The rig will key normally when I just short the key line, or use the
tuning procedure with normal VOX delay etc.

So, all fingers point to the CMOS4. Anybody have any ideas about this one?

Appreciate it, and with 3 TR-4C's, RV-4C's etc. to refurbish I will no
doubt have lots of questions!

Thanks in Advance, from a new Drake fan!
