However, the same photo shows no tube shields over V7, the 12BA6 RF receiver front end, nor over the 12BY7A, the driver tube to the finals. These tubes are approximately center-left in the photo. Both of these tubes have tube sockets designed for push-twist shields, which implies that they should be present. Before we align the TR4-C, should shields be in place over the V7 12BA6 Rcvr RF front end, and over the 12BY7A driver tube? We think the answer is "yes", but would like comments from list members.
