The alloy chassis used in the Drake C Line series appear to have been dipped or sprayed with a light yellow-gold protective varnish or lacquer possibly to protect against corrosion. This is what gives the chassis a light golden appearance. Does anyone know of a distributor who supplies a similar type of metal varnish or lacquer? Wade VA3HM
