There are a couple of Testor's or ModelMaker paints that come very close.

The Dark Gray is #1791 'Navy Gray', and the Light Gray is #1794 'Agressor Gray'. They can of course be darkened or lightened to allow for aging by adding a little black or white if necessary.

The secret to 'touch-up' success is to 'rub in' the spot to the surrounding area so you don't have a 'bump' of new paint. 600 or even 1000-1500 grit 'wet/dry' sandpaper, and finish with something like Novus #2 or toothpaste, etc.

Is there a commercially available paint that matches the dark grey color of the front panel of a T-4XC, or will I have to have the color matched? I have a minor scratch on the panel that I need to repair. Unfortunately new panels are no longer available.
