Hi What do you thing about building drbd over Linux soft raid10 partition? Will it hurt too much on the performance side?
I have a 3ware controller and I'm really disappointed with it's random I/O operations... I think it's the root of all my problems, and I'm considering exporting all disks as JBOD's and trying with mdraid. I have raid 10 on another machine, and performance simply rocks - vs the 3ware (with cache enabled) offcourse.
