Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get DRBD running on my DockStar (ARM Kirkwood plattform). The OS I use is Debian Squeeze (2.6.32-5).

Before touching the real pice of hardware, I tested on QEMU Arm System (versatilepb) and this works fine. Here I can compile DRBD 8.3.9 and run it without problems (128 MB of memory). When trying to do the same on the real hardware (Also 128 MB of memory, where there are > 96 MB free when I try to load the module), I can build everying, however when I load the compiled module I get the error message "Ran out of memory".  This is also true for 8.3.8 and 8.3.7 (which is the same version coming with the debian Kernel).

The DRBD module coming with the squeeze kernel (8.3.7) loads just fine.

Any hints how I can debug this issue further (I expect it is just a "unpreparedness" of DRBD code / automake / autoconf calculating the wrong size of memory to be requested on module initialization) ? Anyone got DRBD self compiled on GuruPlug / DockStar / PogoPlug or any other Kirkwood plattform ?

Regards,
Robert
