Hi Roland,

since you're making the packages available for a virtualization
platform, can you kindly clarify if someone is allowed to use them in
that context if the cloud platform was hosting services provided to
other entities/users/customers? Say, as part of a PaaS offering where
users could spin off their own instances or more?

Section 3.1 covers redistribution, 3.2 covers modification.

3.4.a. excludes all uses cases not explicitly covered in 3.1/3.2; 3.4.b
denies "commercial turn-key solutions" (a term it doesn't define), and
.f finally prohibits "renting or leasing", which could be read to
include operating a hosted solution. (And reacting to bugs in said
platform, which would constitute "support".)

As a user of proxmox who has installed your 3rd party packages, what are
one's rights?

Regards,
    Lars
