Hi, I forget to announce that release, but better late than never. Again, this should continue to be a boring release, which is good.
The main fixes are that stacked handlers got fixed and that adjust now also verifies IPs. The main feature is that if you use DRBD9 and already like the "drbdsetup status" output that prints intentionally diskless clients in green (instead of red for volumes that actually lost a disk), got a new feature: So far when you converted a volume with a disk, to one that is intentionally diskless (i.e., you/drbdmanage/linstor) converted it and set "disk none", this was not communicated to the kernel on "adjust", and these now intentional diskless volumes were still printed in red. This was not only a matter of red vs. green, this also included "drbdsetup events2", "drbsetup status --json", drbdmon, and drbdtop. While easy to fix for an admin (down/up), this confused users. Users don't like red ;-). This was now added, but also requires the corresponding change in the DRBD9 kernel module which will land in DRBD9 release 9.0.15. After that a DRBD powered traffic light should be easy to implement... 9.5.0 -------- * drbdmon: allow to start in problems view (--problems) * drbdadm,v9: fix always failing stacked handlers from kernel * drbdadm,v9: adjust now hands over the information that a * diskfull->diskless change was intentional. Now shown as "green diskless" * drbdadm,v9: adjust verifies now IPs https://www.linbit.com/downloads/drbd/utils/drbd-utils-9.5.0.tar.gz https://github.com/LINBIT/drbd-utils/tree/v9.5.0 Regards, rck _______________________________________________ drbd-user mailing list drbd-user@lists.linbit.com http://lists.linbit.com/mailman/listinfo/drbd-user
