A Dream of Rape and ... Monkees

I dreamt I was out at night in an apartment complex
when I was grabbed from behind, my hands bound in tape
and was thrown against a wall and raped from behind.
I went through the whole thing with police and had
follow up visits with my doctor, the one I have now.
Then one day a few days later I was at a function of
some kind, it was outdoors at a park and me and dozens
of others were sitting at tables under a canopy and
Mickey Dolenz (drummer for 60's american band The
Monkees) was in the grass beside us crazy drunk and
acting like a fool, yelling, bouncing around, falling
down and seemed to be drinking out of a large metal
can, like a kerosene can or something. Then across
the lawn I saw Davy (Jones) (Singer for the same band)
and waved, I was wearing a pretty flower print dress
everyone was dressed nicely except Mickey he only had
on a brown pair of jeans or coreuroy pants and no
shirt, he eventually passed out in the grass. Davy
walked over to us and began mingling with the group.
He was disgusted with Mickey. He knew me we'd talked
before but wasn't interested in me, I was wishing he
was but was still preoccupied with the rape so I
really didn't care. Before it got any further I woke up.

It is one of the commonest of mistakes to consider that the limit of our power
of perception is also the limit of all there is to perceive. - C.W. Leadbeater
