Subject: Patent Office Dream
I dreamed last night I worked in a patent office. It
was a small building with a few rooms and offices, in
an undeveloped area that was grassy flatland. I
worked with an old woman that reminded me of an old
boss I had but this one wasn't nuts. It was a routine
job, nothing sinister or exciting going on. At one
time I was outside in the parking lot and found a cat,
a long haired yellow cat. I was allowed to keep her
in the office until time to go home. Then when time
to go, there was a young woman from Germany in the
office and she was giving me a ride home and there
were many people in the car, it was my old car she'd
bought it and fixed it up. My mother was in the back
seat, and we were on a freeway in rush hour traffic.
Being from Germany she didn't know how to drive in
traffic and almost got us killed by speeding up to a
line of cars stopped on the freeway. I kept saying
'let me drive, let me drive' up until she had to throw
on the brakes to miss the car, I said again 'let me
drive', and mother agreed and we came to a place where
a lot of other cars were pulled over I said, 'just
pull over here it's ok' and she did and we switched
places. Then I woke up.
