Well, not to sound like I'm trying to pass the buck for the DRI guys,
but if it's not visible/goes away when DRI is enabled, then it's
definitely a matter for Xpert/the XFree86 team.

Subject: [Dri-devel] G400 DualHead problems
Hi,
I posted this problem to the DRI list a few weeks ago, but have
received
no response. I know of at least 1 other person having the same
problem as
me, who has posted to both the DRI and Xpert lists, and received
no
response (to the list, maybe privately??). The problem is
apparent
when running both with DualHead (with or without Xinerama) and
Single
Head (WITHOUT direct rendering enabled) layouts, i.e. Whenever
the DRI
is disabled. I have tested in depths 32 (24bpp + 32fbpp), 24 and
16.
Basically the problem is, my blue background from the
enlightenment
blueheart theme, displays as a wierd shade of green, and what
should
be the pseudo-transparency in my Eterm's displays as a bluish
color,
as does the text entry widget in gdm. I would take a screen shot
of
the problem, however last time i did this, and restarted the
Xserver
with direct rendering enabled, and viewed the screenshot, it
appeared
completely normal. i.e the blues and greens that i saw when i
took
the shot were not there.
Any pointers to how to fix this problem would be much
appreciated.
cheers,
ben
