I have finally been successful at getting X 4.1.0 and DRI working on my ATI
rage Mobilty 128 M3. It would appear that the current ATI DRM module being
distributed in 2.4.5-ac13+ (or maybe even older) is not working as well as it
should for 2D drawing (classic flash problems).
I rebuilt my X11 from source and replaced the kernel driver with the one
from DRI CVS (xc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/os-support/linux/drm/kernel/)
and both 2D and 3D work very well.
