On my second screen, Matrox Millennium II, no DRI, I get a constant stream
of 1s in the xterm window, and a window with a purpleish square rotating
in front of a white square on a black background. No flicker.
On my first screen, Guillemot Maxi Gamer Phoenix (3dfx Voodoo Banshee),
with DRI, I get a mixed stream of 0s and 1s in the xterm window, and the
same window with a purple square rotating in front of a white square on a
black background. No flicker, purple square rotation is slightly "jerky".
XFree86 4.1 branch from XFree86 CVS, tdfx kernel module from XFree86 4.0.3
branch from XFree86 CVS (because I'm still using Linux kernel 2.2,) glut
3.7.
