I've got an ATI Radeon PCI card that I'd like to get working. Currently,
it works fine for plain old XFree86, but I'd like to get hardware
accelerated DRI support working too.

I saw the post by Bow-Yaw Wang back in December 2001 about forcibly
#defining PCIGART_ENABLED, and did that for the Linux kernel drm
sourcefile "radeon_cp.c", recompliled, and tried it out, but still no
hardware rendering. I didn't get a chance to force PCIGART for the
XFree86 module yet, but hopefully that will do it.

So, has anyone else had any success getting DRI working for PCI Radeons?
Any more hints?

Also, Bow-Yaw Wang mentioned that 24/32-bit mode was fine, but 16-bit
mode was flakey. Anyone know of any progress there?
