Jens, Stefan,

I've just had a quick look, and it seems they no longer apply at all cleanly 
to our code on the trunk.

I think that we may have brought in some code from the kernel or elsewhere to 
address some of these issues recently.  Stefan, can you verify that these 
changes are still necessary on the DRI cvs code, and if so send a new diff?
