Hi!
I have just compiled and installed the DRI cvs (7th mars 2003) on a umax
apus 3000 running suse linuxppc 7.1 and kernel 2.4.2. Compiling went fine
but i have two questions i would like to ask you.

1.) Everything works fine if i only run one display but when i try to run
two the X server won't start. I have two identical voodoo banshee cards
connected to two identical displays. Everytime i try to start the two
displays at the same time (either as Xinerama or as "independent
displays") the X server crashes. If i start them one display at a time
both displays works just fine. The XF86 log file doesn't show any errors
except for a:

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

When trying to start X i get errors that looks similar to those you get
when entering the wrong horizontal/vertical sync in the XF86Config file,
they only affect the screen described first in the serverlayout section of
the config file. For example:

Section "ServerLayout"

    Identifier "Simple Layout"
    Screen "Screen 0"
Screen "Screen 1" RightOf "Screen 0"
    InputDevice "Mouse1" "CorePointer"
    InputDevice "Keyboard1" "CoreKeyboard"

EndSection

In this case screen 1 seems to get initialized okay while screen 0 doesn't
seem to get the right sync rates. (I have the two screens and graphics
boards set up with exactly the same values.)

I have a onboard graphics card which i am unable to disable, could this be
causing the problems. I have not mentioned it in the XF86Config file and i
have removed every kernel module that can be used to initialize the card.

If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this i would be very happy to hear
your them, because i have not a clue on where to go next...

2.) I haven't been able to compile the libglide library on my ppc. Do
anyone of you have any ideas on where i can find a pre-compiled version of
it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Peter
