I just installed UT2k3 and all patches and tried it under xfree86-4.3.0 and there are a number or rendering 'issues' apparent.
I have a Radeon 64MB DDR ViVo:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R100 QD [Radeon 64 DDR] (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon 7000/Radeon
Flags: bus master, stepping, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 5
Memory at c0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
I/O ports at a800 [size=256]
Memory at cfe80000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
Expansion ROM at cfe60000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: [58] AGP version 2.0
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
I have the gatos ati.2 drivers currently working so I'd kinda rather not mess with things unless there is something to be gained from it. So does the DRI cvs currently handle UT2k3 well enough to play (I can handle a bit of weirdness), or should I wait a bit?
Thanks!
Dan
