Hi Keith,

freedesktop.org is currently reorganizing a bit, and planning on
being a central umbrella of sorts for the hosting of projects
related to desktop technology. The goal is to provide a single
place where related desktop oriented projects can collaborate
more closely together and use a common shared hosting
infrastructure.

The DRI project certainly fits within the scope of the types of
projects freedesktop.org is hoping to attract into the
collaborative network of desktop oriented projects. We would be
more than happy to provide hosting for the DRI project including
CVS with backup services, email, mailing lists, full shell
access, website, ftp, and other services.

The current freedesktop site has just been moved onto a hefty
server on a fairly large pipe, and should be able to provide
reliable project services.

If you're interested, we can set things up as soon as possible
and get user accounts created, etc.

Let us know if you'd like to consider this at all, and if there
are any other services, etc. that would be useful other than
those I mentioned above. Also, feel free to ask any other
questions you may have about the umbrella project and I'll do my
best to try and answer them.

I hope this can help the DRI project.

Take care guys,
TTYL
