The problem is even worse. Apperently the .so files are called
differently in different distributions. On SuSE 8.1 systems it is
libexpat.so.0.3.0. On Debian Woody and Sarge it is called
libexpat.so.1.0.0. The latest rpm download from sourceforge installs a
libexpat.so.0.4.0.

Don't worry. This was only about building binary snapshots. I didn't
suggest changing X11.tmpl in CVS. If you build DRI from source you don't
have the above problem.
