Hi,
if I recall correctly, I had applied dri savage snapshot, around 19 of
may, after install X11R6.7.0 from sources, and works quite nice.
And for me, have a better thing, X.org have install new nicer (in my
option) fonts that are a little bigger.
I would like to try ( when I have some time to do it ) compile savage
drive and dri sources with X11R6.7.0 sources, think that can be quite
simple (juts applied correctly the sources). 
My doubts are concerned to Imakefiles and host.def, I had write to SIS
man (Thomas) about installing new (sis) sources in X.org and he reply
this :

"You should NOT use my Imakefile for anything above 4.2."
