At a guess the mga DRM might be doing something different with DRM_USLEEP than the other drivers, so it might be calling it somewhere it shouldn't... I'll try and take a look, but I don't have an mga.. I don't suppose you have any messages in dmesg, (do you have all the lock sleep debugging turned on?)
