The message talks about G400 Max -- I don't know but maybe that's the
difference !?!?

I already reported this bug some weeks ago. See
http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=473. It's still in
status "NEW" so i doubt that someone is working on it ... :(
