Now that the i830/i845 portion of the i915 driver supports all the functionality of the old i830 drive, can we at least mark the i830 kernel driver as deprecated? The sooner we can totally kill that driver, the better off we'll all be.


I know Jon (and you?) doesn't want to support the i830 kernel module, and I don't want to support the i830_dri.so.
