Hi! I'm trying to find out the best way to extend the XvMC protocol to return the driver name for the XvMC dri driver. In itself not so troublesome, and I already have a working solution, but Ideally, the XvMC architecture-independent library should be able to determine whether the connection is local or not. Any hints on how to do best do this without using drm?
