Last thing I heard of it was that the web server uses a ridiculously old python version. One thought that occurred to me was to move the Wiki to fd.o. We don't have to use the fd.o wiki system (Tiki AFAIK) but we could use a local MoinMoin installation in ~dri. The sf.net page could automatically forward to it. Newer MoinMoin versions support user authentication which should put a stop to Wiki spam. Another problem is that José Fonseca made some modifications to MoinMoin that would have to be ported to the new version. I'm not sure what those changes are.
