I have had a hard time getting any further information about this problem, and can not say precisely which component is causing the crash. On a Powerbook3,2 with a Rage Mobility M3 AGP2x, I experience a crash every time I start an OpenGL application (after the first frame is drawn). The problem seems to persist regardless of whether or not direct rendering is enabled.
