Btw you are not working on same things for pixel shader (texture
filtering, multi-texture, ...) ? Thus doing all the code we need :)

I probably will be adding such a thing in the not-too-distant future.

Note that the i915 driver already does this, building it's own internal program rather than a Mesa or ARB fragment program.
