Hi, Although most recent (cvs version) of drm module for via unichrome can be probed now, another problem appeared:
when xorg loads module I get: [drm] Initialized drm 1.0.0 20040925 PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for device 0000:01:00.0 [drm] Initialized via 2.6.5 20050810 on minor 0: VIA Technologies, Inc. S3 Unichrome Pro VGA Adapter [drm] Used old pci detect: framebuffer loaded [drm:via_initialize] *ERROR* via_initialize called with no agp memory available I do not suppose there would really be insufficient memory (it used to work with previous version) in glxinfo AllocateDmaBuffer fail is displayed, in xorg log I get: (EE) VIA(0): [drm] drmAgpAcquire failed 1023 (II) VIA(0): [dri] use pci.
