          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical

        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Overview:
dmesg reports "Unable to reserve mem region" for ATI Rage 128 Pro. OpenGL Apps
crash or freeze.

To Reproduce:
1) modprobe r128
2) startx
3) Start one of various OpenGL apps

Actual Results (all reproducible everytime):
1) Module loads, but dmesg reports error - see below.
2) Works.
3) App crashes (example a) or freezes (b) or works (c)
   a) game gltron: exits on selection of new game, output: Rage 128 timed out...
   b) game Privateer Gemini Gold: Whole system freezes
   c) glxgears: runs with ~1000fps

Expected Results:
3a,b) should run, as it does without DRI.
