To test last features of DRI drives, you should need lastest drives of X
tree, but to test latest Mesa3D it self you don't need it latest X.

Before the development of DRI has move to Mesa tree, the development was
made using always the same Mesa3D code.

Therefore I think DRI developers should update Mesa stable branch, not
just with bug fix , but also with new features / optimizations. At same
time that update driver on Xorg tree.

If this is made, DRI Building should be done with Mesa stable branch and
more quickly dri code enter in Xorg tree, where could be test without
snapshots, therefore the Distros could put the code out faster and can
be tested for a much bigger number of people.

This is my ideia .
