Hi,

Joachim Frieben írta:
This fits pretty much the 365 FPS at [EMAIL PROTECTED] that I have obtained
for my Radeon 7200 PCI. The figures look correct to me.
You can significantly increase the frame rate by reducing the color depth to
16bpp. Maybe this explains the reported differences.

On the PCI Radeon 7000VE:

$ set | grep DISPLAY
DISPLAY=:0.0
$ glxgears
1686 frames in 5.0 seconds = 337.085 FPS
1683 frames in 5.0 seconds = 336.494 FPS
1683 frames in 5.0 seconds = 336.561 FPS
1683 frames in 5.0 seconds = 336.460 FPS

Thanks. With 16 bit display, now I get this on my 9200SE:

$ glxgears
4884 frames in 5.0 seconds = 976.754 FPS
4871 frames in 5.0 seconds = 974.137 FPS
4871 frames in 5.0 seconds = 974.100 FPS
4882 frames in 5.0 seconds = 976.362 FPS

My Radeon 7000VE doesn't give as impressive difference,
if gives about 404-406 FPS.

BTW, the resolution is 1280x1024 on both cards.

Best regards,
Zoltán Böszörményi
