           Summary: Crash in Wine
           Product: Mesa
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium

        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Wine crashes while attempting to play Halo on an Intel GMA 945. I'm really only
reporting this because the error log said to.

Steps to recreate:
Start Halo in a recent Wine build on an i915 card. Wait until the game finishes
the opening videos (or start with -novideo). It will crash immediately.

Short crash log (with WINEDEBUG=-all, so it's just the Mesa errors):
Mesa 7.0.3-rc2 implementation error: i915_program_error: Exceeded max temporary
reg
Please report at bugzilla.freedesktop.org
Mesa 7.0.3-rc2 implementation error: i915_program_error: Exceeded max nr
indirect texture lookups
Please report at bugzilla.freedesktop.org
e: intel_batchbuffer.c:145: intel_flush_inline_primitive: Assertion
`intel->prim.primitive != ~0' failed.
DRM_I830_CMDBUFFER: -22

Full crash log reports GL_INVALID_ENUM on glBindTexture with a DXT texture
(message repeats - floods terminal):
fixme:d3d_surface:surface_upload_data Using DXT1/3/5 without advertized support
fixme:d3d_texture:IWineD3DBaseTextureImpl_BindTexture >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500) from glBindTexture @ basetexture.c / 300
