Summary: [DRI2] Failed to map pixmap: Device Busy Product: DRI Version: XOrg CVS Platform: x86 (IA32) OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: General AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This seems to be the most prominent of bugs related to DRI2... When a new window is opened under Compiz with intel-batchbuffer and DRI2, it will quite often crash the X server with "Failed to map pixmap: Device is busy", after which any attempts to restart the server yield nothing but an unusable black screen and I must restart (log says hardware errors present, which is surprisingly only a warning...) Steps to reproduce: Start an X server with current intel-batchbuffer branch and DRI2 enabled. Start Compiz. Open a new window. Repeat previous step as many times as needed. I will upload the Xorg.*.log as soon as this forced fsck finishes, not that there is much in it as I tend to not compile for extreme amounts of debug information. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
