Bug detailed description:
--------------------------
When run mesa demos, take arbfplight and fire for example,"arbfplight" display
a black viewport,no sphere displays and then X hangs. run "fire" with
operations like "press f for several times" , and the X hangs. After this
happens, X could be killed only by "pkill -9 X" and can not started normally
any more.

Reproduce steps:

1 xinit &
2 ./arbfplight
