Hi, I'd like to test KMS a bit more than by just having a nice looking console. So on top of my KMS-enabled kernel I'd like to have a KMS-enabled userland.
I try to build xf86-video-intel (2.5.99.1) with --enable-kms, but I have a problem: ----8<---- make[3]: Entering directory `/home/corsac/debian/xorg/xserver-xorg-video-intel/obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/uxa' ../doltcompile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../uxa -I.. -I/usr/include/xorg -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/drm -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wnested-externs -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/include/xorg -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -Wall -g -O2 -MT uxa.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/uxa.Tpo -c -o uxa.lo ../../uxa/uxa.c In file included from /usr/include/xorg/dix.h:55, from /usr/include/xorg/scrnintstr.h:58, from /usr/include/xorg/xf86str.h:39, from /usr/include/xorg/xf86.h:47, from ../../uxa/uxa-priv.h:34, from ../../uxa/uxa.c:37: /usr/include/xorg/geext.h:59: error: expected ‘)’ before ‘*’ token /usr/include/xorg/geext.h:60: error: expected ‘;’ before ‘void’ /usr/include/xorg/geext.h:103: error: expected ‘)’ before ‘*’ token /usr/include/xorg/geext.h:104: error: expected ‘;’, ‘,’ or ‘)’ before ‘void’ /usr/include/xorg/geext.h:108: error: expected ‘)’ before ‘*’ token make[3]: *** [uxa.lo] Error 1 ---->8---- This is with: - xserver 1.5.99.3 sources passed with --with-xserver-sources - xext proto 7.0.4 - libdrm 2.4.3 Is there a problem with xext stuff or is the problem lying on my side?
