Xorg Crash Log
SSH from Fedora 11 32-bit, xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.6.4-0.1.fc11, to a server
running CentOS EL 5.3 64-bit. I have an X11 tunnel set up so that I can start
"xclock", "kdevelop", "gedit" with no problems and have it show up locally.
However, when I attempt to start VirtualBox GUI through
VirtualBox-3.0.8_53138_rhel5-1 it crashes my local Xserver. (The virtualbox gui
is used to manage and control VirtualBox guests running on the remote server -
there are no guests running yet because I can't get the manager to stop
crashing my Xserver.)
Other weirdness is that I must use a stock kernel 2.6.30* compiled from scratch
in order to keep KMS enabled.
Disabling KMS does not prevent the above reproducible crash.
The crash does not happen if I start the VirtualBox manager locally on my box
for guests located on my desktop: VirtualBox-3.0.8_53138_fedora11-1.i586
