Why don't you try cloning from github and take a build.
I have just took a fresh clone and it works perfect for me.

$ git clone https://github.com/apache/incubator-drill.git
$ cd incubator-drill
$ mvn clean install -DskipTests

As Tim mentioned there seems to be some setup issue on your box. Let us
know if you stumble upon any build errors.
