IMO, the tile-style is suited if the listings represented by the tiles do not change. There should be a limit to the number of tiles one should have, after which it becomes a visual information overload.
The tiles look good (it's important to have the tiles be similar in size and style).... so I'd suggest only the essential links be represented by it. External Links can be continued to be listed as is, in a prettier table format. -----Original Message----- From: Yash Sharma [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2014 6:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Little work on website user experience And the Get Involved page: http://i.imgur.com/OVeHXzt.png?1 Yash On Tue, Jun 24, 2014 at 5:12 PM, Yash Sharma <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Drillers, > Recently I was trying my hands on some User Experience stuffs, so was > wondering if we would like to customize the way how text links are > displayed on the Drill Homepage :) > > Here is an example of Pinterest type tile style.
