It is mac_tx_update(). You need call the function at the same point where
gld_sched() is called, I think.

I'm not sure. I think version 2.x.x series of my drivers may help your
work, because they support both of GLDv2 and GLDv3 by compile time
selection, i.e. #ifdef-#else-#endif. Please refer gem.c in the tar balls.
