This is kinda of what I suspected. Many of the functions and/or tools 
which tie into wx (the wrapper of many) seem to be based around diffs of 
the parent and/or children. Mercurial has a similar notion of being able 
to parent/clone/merge, so I have read, but I have not used it too much 
other than to clone the nightly from OpenSolaris.

As you might guess, this is quite a difficult job to try and move all of 
the infrastructure outside the Sun Firewall, and I don't honor the likes 
of Stephen Hahn's job. Hopefully we won't loose him to a mental hospital. 
Good news is that Sun's Santa Clara campus was built on a historical site 
that did in fact used to be a mental hospital, so maybe that will 
suffice...<g> I guess it still is, in some regards.
