There is a known bug that the trackpad on MacBook doesn't work on Solaris. The workaround is to use an external USB mouse. But the internal keyboard should work on Solaris. I didn't see that the same problem was reported. Maybe the issue only happens on your *NEW* MacBook pro. I will try the snv_84 on MacBook.
Please privately send me the output of the following commands. echo "::prtusb -t" | mdb -k; echo "::prtusb -v" | mdb -k Regards, Strony Darren Kenny : > I just got a new MacBook Pro, and it would appear that the integrated keyboard > has been updated from the previous model. > > The update in the keyboard/touchpad (since they appear to be listed together) > has resulted in the inability to use the keyboard on Solaris at all, I have to > resort to using an external keyboard, defeating the purpose of a laptop > really... > > The internal keyboard is a USB keyboard, and I'm running snv_84. > > I'm not really sure what to look for that might be useful for someone "in the > know" to be able to debug it, so any advice here would be useful... > > I noticed that there was a project listed to enhance HID support on Solaris, > and > I'm wondering if I now need that support... > > Thanks, > > Darren. > > > _______________________________________________ > driver-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/driver-discuss > _______________________________________________ driver-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/driver-discuss
