+1.  Its very difficult to evaluate potential Core Contributors when 
their presence is not in the main discussion area.  I wasn't aware of 
Lin's contributions, and I think I'm not the only one.

This is also, btw, why folks who in the past have "started" Device 
Driver "projects" (trees off the main branch) need to *stop* doing so.  
Instead, "projects" need to follow the officially sanctioned process for 
Open Solaris projects, which means that they get voted on, and get the 
increased visibility as a result.  (They also get some dedicated web 
space, and can be "sponsored" by multiple community groups.)

Those of you "Leaders" that have just gone about editing and creating 
"project pages", please cease and desist.  (Projects which have 
"official" Open Solaris projects and sponsorship from the DD community 
aren't included in this request -- they have already done "the right 
thing" -- or at least I hope they have.)

Btw, its also the case that we should *not* be sponsoring any projects 
which the Core Contributors have not agreed upon using the same 
consensus voting model.  Do *not* add sponsorship to projects that 
haven't followed that process either, please.
