Solaris installation is currently limited to disk smaller than 1TB.
This is due to some limitation of the Sun VTOC disk label.

  There's a project to extend that limit to 2TB which has just been
integrated into OpenSolaris. So you can give it a try by using the
latest version of OpenSolaris, however I am not sure this works
with 32bit kernel, I think you need a 64bit kernel.

  The next phase of this project is go beyon the 2TB limit by using
EFI disk label instead of VTOC.
