Actually, this forum is for driver developer discussions, rather than
debugging end-user problems.
However, I'd be somewhat surprised if your Intel motherboard has an
ethernet part that isn't supported. (Though in all honesty, I can't
keep track of the hundreds or thousands of different motherboard and
chipsets we often deal with.)
Send output from "prtconf -vp" (or if on linux, "scanpci -v"), and maybe
someone here can figure out.
Also, how do you know that the ethernet isn't detected? Have you tried
"ifconfig -a plumb"?
